 We need your prayers
My dear friends,
Greetings to you in His name!
God has blessed Living Water with great partners and great friends. Two of our most recent friends are Gloria Rapson and Bree Bailey. I have not seen either of them since the earthquake, though I could meet Bree this week If I knew where in Haiti she is serving the victims. As for Gloria, I don't know if I will ever see her again this side of heaven. But we will meet for sure when we go home. These two gals are just a few people among possibly thousands who are praying for us. If that is the case, why do I need to request more prayers?
 I need to let you know that we really need it. We specially need it as we go to help people in Saint-Marc and Port-au-Prince. We need prayer for a respectful distribution. We want to distribute not just a plate with food, or a package with things that people need, but we need to share God's love with them. We need them to see that we care and that we care only because God cares. We need to impact them in such a way that God is pleased. So please pray for us for that.
We need prayer for safety while traveling. It is true we have checked the bus, so our Ford bus is ready to go, but we need your prayer that God will protect the bus for a wonderful trip. When vehicles break down on our roads, it is a stressful thing, especially now.
 We also need prayer for our safety while handing out food. There have been a few instances where people were distributing food and rioting started. Please pray that God will give us the wisdom necessary to make the distribution with a caring heart.
Please pray for blessings on these men and women who will leave on less than 4 hours of sleep to get ready for this trip. Please pray for blessings on everyone who contributes so that we can go to help those in needs.
